Executive Directions, LLC embraces ethical principles and common standards of the executive search process. In this regard we have adopted policies that relate to the issues of a finder's fee. A finder's fee is identified as monies paid by Executive Directions, LLC to an outside source for identifying an open employment position and the subsequent successful placement of a candidate. A finder's fee may also be granted to an outside consultant or person who identifies a candidate who in turn, is placed in an employment position.
Executive Directions, LLC's normal fees for services are based on 28% of the first year's cash compensation (e.g., base salary, target incentive bonus, and signing bonus). Provided these monies are agreed and collectable from the client, Executive Directions, LLC will pay a valid pre-agreed finder's fee to any qualified person or organization, as follows:
- A written finder's fee agreement must be executed by both parties prior to any consideration or payment and prior to the actual successful candidate placement.
- Finder's fee will be 15% of the collectable fees. Example: First year total cash compensation equals $150,000; fee for placement services (28%) equals $42,000; finder's fee (15% of collectable) equals $6,300.
- Finder's fee agreement is solely between the outside party and Executive Directions, LLC principle parties are not part of this transaction.
- Finder's fee will be paid 30 days after the total collectable placement fee is received by Executive Directions, LLC from the client.
- If disputes arise between the parties, they will be pursued through either The Arts Arbitration and Mediation Services or any court of competent jurisdiction.
