The performance of every Executive Directions, LLC consultant is rated on the quality of information generated and shared. Each search has unique requirements and points of emphasis. The search process proceeds in the following five phases:
PHASE 1: BRIEFING AND REVIEW OF SEARCH STRATEGY
- Develop thorough understanding of client company, sector position, markets and competitors.
- Develop position specifications and the client profile.
- Develop and agree on search strategy with client.
- Discuss compensation parameters.
PHASE 2: IDENTIFY AND REVIEW CANDIDATES
- Identify potential candidates, carry out in-depth research.
- Contact candidates to determine suitability, availability and interest.
- Meeting with client to review search and agree on candidate short list.
PHASE 3: INTERVIEWING AND PRESENTING CANDIDATES
- Interview short list candidates and evaluate.
- Start informal references and qualification checks where possible.
- Prepare detailed profiles of each candidate, present profiles to client.
- Arrange interviews between client and candidates, counsel both parties.
PHASE 4: SELECTION AND PRESENTATION OF OFFER
- Debriefing of client and chosen candidate, finalize employment terms and compensation.
- Formal offer is made, final stage of referencing.
PHASE 5: INTEGRATION AND FOLLOW-UP
- Post appointment meeting(s) with client and candidate to help ensure successful integration of candidate into client organization.
